According to a report from Stolp a sixty-year-old man has flown by means of his-own muscular power. He is Arthur Janentsoh, and his wings are built of bamboo and linen. Witnesses state that, mounting a crazy tower of poles and planks not far from the Baltic, tho old man, wearing his wings, springs into space.. As it seems that the flyer will crash to the ground, he rises like a huge bat and moves heavily through the air until tired. He then stretches out his wings and glides to the ground. In France the birth of a baby cannot bo registered in tho civil records unless the Christian name has been selected from the official list of names —chosen from those of saints and famous personages —isued from time to time by the Government.
