RECEPTION AT NELSON IS “ROTTEN”

When an invitation to attend the annual meeting of the 2ZJI .Radio Club name before the Inst meeting of the Nelson City Council it was decided that the council should attend as a body to bcl]) the club in its efforts to maintain ns service through station 2ZR. Councillor S. A. Gibbs said bo bad not boen in favour of the club’s previous rocpiests for a Government subsidy on account of the Broadcasting Board's explanation that the new station being erected at Akaroa would overcome Nelson's difficulty of poor reception.
