It was announced to-day that two new theatres would be builtin Christchurch shortly by Amalgamated Theatres, one at the corner of Colombo and Gloucester streets, and the other in Worcester street, cast of the Square. Both will have seating for 900. The contracts were signed this morning.—Press Association. ARREST IN EDENDALE ■' HOLD-UP. In connection with the Edcndalo garage hold-up last night the police located the stolen car at Clinton early this afternoon, and a man was arrested as one of the alleged culprits. ULM ARRIVES.
