THIRD PARTY MOTOR INSURANCE
An important announcement by th« Motor Vehicles Third Party Pool appears in ■ another column with respect to the premiums payable under the Alotor Vehicles Insurance (Third Party Risks) Act, 1928. Attention is drawii to the fact that these rates are speci. tied by Order in Council, and are uniform with all 'companies. The premiums, which are set out in full on th« insurance nomination form, are payable without any deduction to the Deputy Registrar of Alotor Vehicles at the time of registration of any vehicle and the nomination of the insurance company selected for the cover ol third party risks. As many motorists have received circulars from which it may be inferred that discounts could be obtained, the Alotor Vehicles Third Party Pool has issued a statement warning motorists that such is not the case. The premiums set out in the Order in Council are based on the'experience of past years, and, with slight exception, show further reductions oil those previously charged.
