A GRADE MATCH The first competition in the A grade series of the Otago Miniature Rifle Association’s intercluh matches was, fared on the railway, range on Monday evening. The competing teams were Returned .Soldiers’ Small Bore Rifle Club and the Dunedin Miniature Rifle Club, the honours going to the Returned Soldiers’ Club. Scores:— Returned Soldiers. —W. Upon the conclusion of the interclub match, the ‘ Swan Spng ’ was given by the Returned Soldiers’ members, a choir of twelve competing for the- “ Swan,” which is annually presented to the club by the president (Mr D. H. Rowntree). After a strenuous competition, J. M'Kee was the winner, closely followed by T. Menzies and C. James. ARTHUR BARRETT’S CLUB On- Thursday evening at the Drill Hall range the members ot Arthur Barnett’s Miniature Rifle Club held their usual wee'kly practice shoot, lb© keen rivalry that exists among the members was responsible for some excellent cards being brought in.
