BOWS DAMAGED
DESTROYER AND STEAMER COLLIDE (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, May 10. (Received May 11, at 11.30 a.m.) H.M.S. Whirlwind, of the fifth destroyer flotilla, was in collision at 10.51 to-day with the merchant ship Luinneach (1,074 tons), belonging to the Limerick Steamship Company, about ten miles south-west from Start Point. The bows of both ships were damaged, but no member of either crew suffered injury. Botli vessels readied Dartmouth under their own steam.
