HILDA The weekly dances of the S|- Kilda Unemployed Association are still being well patronised by the dancing fraternity, some 150 couples taking the floor last- Saturday night,- when ; Fraser’s Majestic Band, assisted by Tom Dillon, the jazz tenor, was present. The win-ners-of the Monte Carlo were Miss Sims and- -Mr Spiers, while" Miss Anderson and- Mr Thomson won the lucky spot. To-morrow night the first, heat of an extended Monte Carlo for a cash prize will be held. The competition will extend over two open nights and a final, on Saturday, May 26. In addition there will also be a novelty dance, to which is attached good prizes. After the dance a corporation bus will leave for the Exchange.
