The finals resulted:—Boys’ singles: A. D. Brown (Auckland) beat C. Tenfold (Canterbury), 6-1, 6-3. Girls - singles: Margaret Beverley (the holder of the title, Waikato) beat Ruby Wilson (Southland), G-0, 6-3 (the loser had her revenge in the interisland contest —1-6, 6-5, 6-3). Boys’ doubles; Brown and J. W. Mayson (Auckland) beat R. Pattinson (West Coast) and A. Allen (Kaipara), 6-1, 6-1. Girls’ doubles: Jessie Burns and Ina Small (Wellington) beat Dorothy Dickey and -loan Senior (holders of the title. Canterbury), 6-4, 6-I.—Auckland message.

ATHENS, May 9.—Miss Batten has arrived here.
NELSON FRUIT EXPORT.
A. Nelson Association message states that the export fruit season closes next week, and it is anticipated that over a million cases will be shipped from the district. The previous record for one season was 991,729 cases in 1932, but up to last night. 992,097 had already been sent overseas.
