(Received May 9, at 9.35 a.m.) President Roosevelt outlined to United States Senate silver advocates to-day a programme involving the nationalisation of silver and a 25 per cent, basis for the monetary system. At White House it was emphasised that the conference was not final, and more meetings would be held.
