NO. 6 DEPOT COMMITTEE The monthly meeting of the committee of the No. 6 depot was held in Cameron Hall on Monday night, when there was a good attendance of members. The treasurer reported that steady business was being done in supplying coal, boots, and clothing to the families of those registered at the depot. A grant for the purchase of material for women’s and children’s clothing Laving been received from the central executive, the matter of expending the money was left' in the hands of the Ladies’ Committee. As the whole of the proceeds from the annual harvest festival of the Anderson’s Bay Presbyterian Church are being given to the unemployed in the district, it was decided to open the depot at 10.30 a.m. on Monday next, when the goods will be distributed to those who are eligible. Applicants for assistance are asked to bring their own receptacles. _ The date of the next committee meeting was fixed for Tuesday, June 5, at 7 p.m.
