COASTER ASHORE
IN DANGEROUS POSITION Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, SYDNEY, May 8. (Received May 8, at 11 a.m.) The coastal steamer Nambucca, 415 tons, is ashore in a dangerous position at the entrance to the Nambucca River. A crew of twelve is on board. After four rocket lines had failed to reach tho ship from the breakwater resdue efforts were abandoned until tho morning.
