The ‘ Daily Herald’s ’ diplomatic correspondent'says: “A ten-year pact of non-aggression has been signed at Moscow between Russia and Poland. . It gives the Soviet additional security in the West and so makes Japanese aggression more risky. Thus a big step has been taken in the consolidation of peace in Eastern Europe. The new pact dispels the rumours that the GermanPolish agreement on no-aggression had a secret undertaking behind it for eventual attack upon the Soviet Union.”
