MEN’S ASSBOIATIOH 'l'lje Executive Committee of the Otago Hockey Association met in the V’.AI.C.A. last evening. There ■ were present Messrs if.. E. Payton ■ (in the rlmir), E. P. Allen, I). A. Balhmtyno. K. Brown, E. Callon, O. Doy. \\. M'Qnoen, J? Pickup, K. Twosc, W. Warrington. I',. Densem, and H. Sew Hoy (secretary). Mr Goodman wrote stating that at the general meeting of the .Now Zca land Association n motion revising the rules governing the Hatch Cun was lost. A letter from Air Lowin was received intimating that ground routs had been increased from £5 to £7 10s, Air Todd’s application to act as a referee was referred to. the Referees’ Association. The Albany Club was granted permission to travel to Onniani on May 12. An application from the EastcrnXorthorn Chib to travel to Dunedin on June -1 was referred to the Technical Club. A letter was received from the Primary Schools’ Hot-key Association intimating that ton teams would 1 be playing this year, and asking for three coaches, four referees, five -grounds, and forty new sticks. The Grounds Committee reported that the ground at Logan Park would not be rerptired during the coming season. It had been found necessary to postpone all matches on Saturday last. It was recommended that the postponed matches be played at the end of the round. After discussion. Air Allen’s motion that ’ the postponed matches he played on .May 19 to suit the interuniversity tournament was lost by ’ 4 votes to 5. It was decided to play the postponed matches, Albany v. University A and H. 5.0.8. vi UtiF versity B on June 2. The matter of dues payable by clubs was deferred till the next meeting.
