FORTHCOMING DISCUSSIONS IN COMMONS WORDING OF OTTAWA AGREEMENT TO BE REVIEWED (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, RUGBY, May 3. (Received May 4, at 1 p.m.) Among the matters to ho raised in the debate on the Dominions Office vote in the House of Commons on Monday will be the Ottawa Agreement, the wording of which will be a subject of review. The recent New Zealand suggestion put forward with a view to stimulating trade with Britain will also be discussed. ‘ The Times ’ says that there will be an exchange of views between the Ministers and Mr S. M. Bruce as soon as he returns from Australia, particularly as he will be seeing Air Forbes in New Zealand and Air Bennett in Canada during his journey to England. IMPERIAL CONFERENCE STATEMENT BY PRIME AIINISTER. LONDON, May 3. (Received Alay 4, at noon.) In the House of Commons Air Ramsay AlacDonald told Dr Howitt that no suggestion had been brought to his notice as having been made to Air Bruce that the Imperial Conference be held in London in 1935 to discuss defence and economic policy in the light of Ottawa. (Received May 4, at 1.30 p.m.) Dr Burgin (Parliamentary Secretary of Trade), replying to questions in the House of Commons by Sir G. W. Fox, said that the average c.i.f. value of New Zealand butter landed in March was 70s 8d per cwt, compared with Russian (including duty) 59s lid, and Danish 73s 7d. The minimum Home price for Denmark was 97s 6d. He was not aware of the wholesale price in New Zealand, but understood that it was based on the London quotation.
