HUSBAND’S PLEA REJECTED
SHOPLIFTER SENT TO GAOL [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 4. Rejecting the husband’s plea that his wife was a good woman and that drink was the cause of all her trouble, Mr E. Page, S.M., sent Annie Dean (38) to, prison for four months for shop, lifting from .lames Smith, drapers. Slip had quite a list of convictions.
