The Auckland Milk Council this morning, after a long discussion in which sectional interests wore apparent, decided to fix the price of milk to the consumer at 5d a quart loose and 5Jd bottled. Vendors may, at their discretion, supply relief workers with milk at 4d. The council also resolved to grant to the Hospital Board and other charitable institutions the right to contract for supplies at Is a gallon.
