MANUAL LABOUR?
A FOOTBALL PUZZLE LONDON, April 26. The question whether professional football is manual labour will be decided in the High Court. The case affects the Soccer code. The parties to a friendly action arc Leu Graham, a Millwall Soccer halfback, and the Ministry of Health. At present professionals and employers make health and unemployment insurance contributions. The Ministry has hitherto regarded football as manual labour, and for that reason .the danse exempting salaries over £250 a year does not apply. Many clubs and players disagree with that view. •
