STEEPLES TO BROWN ABBEY Rain falling throughout the (lay softened the tracks for the concluding programme of the Egmont Racing Club's Winter Meeting, but a good attendance assembled. The totnlisaror handled £6,533, an increase of £971 on the second day last year. The total for the two days was £14,990 10s, an increase of £3,207 10s. Tea Garden lost his rider at the second hurdle. Count Lendroff, Don Erma, and Consent were prominent at different stages. The first-named pair led into the straight from Palm, who made a good finish to win by a length, with Esteem two lengths back and Count Lendroff fourth. Time, 2min 47 4-usee.
