FOGS ON BRITISH COASTS
SHIPS IN TROUBLE TWO GO ASHORE (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 2. (Received May 3, at noon.) ' Although most of Britain is experiencing a spell of sunshine after the welcome rains, which have diminished the water shortage anxieties, fog is being experienced around the coast. The Dutch motor vessel Westlaan went ashore in a dense fog at Portland Bill during the night, and the members of the crew, with the wife and two children of the captain, were brought ashore - by a breeches buoy. The Westlaan was refloated this morning. The schooner Mary Miller also went ashore in a thick fog off Dungeness Point. She is in no danger, unless the wind freshens from the south, and it is hoped to refloat her during the day. Meanwhile two lifeboats and the Dungeness life-saving crew are standing by-
