BOARD'S ANNUAL MEETING T)k* annual meeting of the Tiiicri .Mouth Domain Board was hold yesterday at Milton, and was attended by Messrs W. P. Brugh (in the chair), H. :U. Driver, W. Moore, jun., J. Joseph, C. H. Thomson, J. Henry, and P. J. Priest. It was reported that, as the sevenyear term of the hoard members was nearing its end, the Lands and Survey Department had been asked what the position was in regard to the appointment of a new board, and a letter had been received from the department stating that advice would be received in due course, and in the meantime no action need be taken.—The letter was received. The question of who was responsible for the insuring of the shelter shed at Taieri Mouth arose, and it was found that it stood on the ground controlled by the Amenities Society. The Chairman reported that with Mr \V. M'Cormack, representing the Amenities Society, he had waited on the Otago Motor Club and suggested that the northern portion of the recreation ground might be used for the purposes of a motorists’ camp. The club had not taken any definite action in the matter.—After some discussion it was decided to place the offer before the club again. There was a lengthy discussion on the subject of forming paths through the scenic reserve at Taieri Month, and it was decided to leave the matter in the hands of Messrs Moore and Joseph to have Ihe work done by relief labour when it was available. Mr Joseph said that the water supply in the domain required attention, the reservoir at the spring having fallen into a state of disrepair.—lt was decided lo have the necessary renovations carried out.
