MAY DAY CELEBRATIONS
CONCERT IN TRADES HALL A concert programme presented by Miss Jimsie Fraser’s party wa's the main feature of the May Day celebrations in the Dunedin Tracies Hall last evening. The ball was filled to capacity, and an enjoyable programme of entertainment was provided by the following:—Joe Kersey (overture), Omdah the Magician (assisted by Miss L. Whelan), Misses Netty Pullar and Flora. Macdonald (Highland fling), Airs Charles Samson (songs), Jack Millar (Irish jig), All' Bert Nelson (comic songs), Kaikoral Novelty Serenaders’ Band of seventeen performers conducted by Air Bert Nelson, the Bryan Trio (song's and tap dance), Air Tom White and-Miss Ethel Matheson (clarinet and piano duo), Air George Watson (songs in character), Joey and Air Petrie (‘Patter Act interruptions’). At the conclusion of the concert short addresses were given by Cr At. Silverstonc and Air S. Dale (Auckland).
