COOLIES BURIED
JUTE BUILDING COLLAPSES TEN BODIES SO FAR RECOVERED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, April 30. (Received May 1, at 9.15 a.m.) About fifty or sixty coolies were buried when a juto press at Howrah collapsed. Police and others are worklug feverishly to remove the debris, hut it will be days before the real death roll is known. There was a fire in the budding a few days ago, and the coolies were engaged in salvaging the damaged jute hales when the building collapsed during the strong winds without the slightest warning. So far ten bodies have been recovered.
