CLERGY MOVEMENT MORE STRENGTH APPARENT. LONDON, _ February 26. Jn spite of the capitulation of itt loaders German opposition to the clergy movement is strengthening (says ‘ Tht Times ’). Dissenting pastors, with their congre. gations in strong support, are apparently considering the establishment of an independent organisation within the Evangelical Church. Pastor Niemoller, who had been dismissed by they Nazi Reich bishop, Dr Mueller,'preached yesterday in a Berlin church, thus strengthening the indications of resistance. Nevertheless, recent relaxation of the non-Aryan clause and Herr Hitler's promises of concession may prevent a schism if the Oppositionists are not extrenio.
