DAYLIGHT ROBBERIES THREE BAHKS HELD UP Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, NEW YORK, February 2. Bandits staged four sensational daylight robberies in various parts of America to-day, stealing over 175,000d0l in cash. One policeman was killed and several other persons were killed or kidnapped. At Pensgrove (New Jersey) four gunmen escaped with 130,000 do!, being the payroll of Dupont and De Nemours, explosive manufacturers. At Needham (Massachusetts) bandits equipped with machine guns invaded a bank and started firing at random, killing a policeman and wounding three others. They escaped with 10,000dol. A bank at Rochester (New York) was similarly invaded, and 15,000d0l was taken, but no one was injured; while at Coleman (Texas) bandits stole 23,000d0l from a bank, and covered their escape by kidnapping the entire staff of six clerks.
