Thomas Shersing (33) and his daugh. ter Dawn (aged two) were drowned in the Wallamba River when a skiff overturned in a squall. Mrs Shersing and her two sisters had narrow escapes. BRISBANE, February 5. (Received February 5, at noon.) Two brothers—Robert James (10) and Henry James (7) —were drowned in the flooded Rose River near Townsville.
