Bank of Australasias were reported as having been sold at the improved price of £l3 this morning, and at the call over there were further buyers at the same figure, - but no apparent sellers. New Zealands also improved slightly. •< The insurance section was neglected; ' while Huddart, -Parker ordinaries were ■/ fractionally firmer, and 2d more was offered by buyers of Westport Coals, without re*UMeat preserving shares maintained a , strong market. Refrigerating shares were quoted ex dir., while South Otago ad- • jranced to buyers at £5 19s. s ‘ Sellers of Dominion Fertilisers eased a little, but Electrolytic Zincs revealed a hardening tendency. Mount Lyells were for sale at 25s 9d, but buyers were not in evidence. Few alterations were apparent in the told mining section.
