RAVENSBOURNE REGATTA
A:keen committee has the affairs of the annual Ravcnsbourue regatta will in hand, and everything points to this year’s regatta being just as outstanding a success as in previous years. The of aquatic entertainment on this day includes swimming, model yacht races, and yacht and motor boat races. Given fine weather, this regatta should provide a good afternoon’s entertainment. As is the custoni at these functions, afternoon tea will be provided to all patrons on the day, and there will also be launch rides for the .children. The programme of this regatta is published in a separate column of this issue.
At the conclusion of the afternoon’s sport, the prizes won on the day will he presented by the commodore of the regatta, Mr T. H. Harridge, at a dance to he held in the evening.
