KAIKORAI VALLEY ROAD.

TO THE EDITOR, Sir, —Relative to the article which appeared in your daily paper on January 27 concerning the condition of the Kaikorai Valley road, i wish to second the remarks made. This road at the Roslvn end is a disgrace owing; to the dust nuisance in dry weather, and the mud in wet weather. There is a broken concrete channel on one side of the road, and on the other side is an open ditch. There is an asphalt footpath on one side only, and in wet wehther pedestrians get splashed with flying mud’ from passing cars. A few years ago several strips of land were bought by the Gity Corporation for road widening, and there they remain filled in, and left like old tips.—l am, etc. Disgusted.... February 3.
