ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
FARMER FOUND SHOT. Francis Arthur Bartholomew, * farmer, of Riverlin Station, Te Puru. puru, was found dead at his home yesterday morning. The upper part of the head was blown off and a shotgun was lying alongside the body. The deceased was forty-two years of age, and was a married man with two children.— Masterton Press Association. INJURED IN MOTOR COLLISION. As the result of a collision between! a motor car driven by Herbert Lonsdale, of Stratford, and a motor cycle ridden by Hugh Butt, of Eltham, both are in the hospital. _J. Weston and H. Smart, passengers in Lonsdale’s car, were slightly injured, Lonsdale’s condition is improving, but Butt is on the critical list..
