(6.35 p.m.), 1,337 tons, Rowlands, for Westport. COASTWISE AIOVEAIENTS. Totara arrived at Port Chalmers last night from West port. She was to come to Dunedin this afternoon, and will load and sail to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington, and New Plymouth. The Waipiata left Wellington on Tuesday, and is expected at Dunedin to-morrow morning. She is to sail tomorrow afternoon for Bluff, and returns to load on Monday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, AVellington, and Auckland. _ Waimarino is to leave Auckland tomorrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due on Wednesday, and will sail for the south on the same day. '_ _ Gale is due from Wellington on Mom dav, and is to load on the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, AVellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Holmdalo is due on Wednesday from Wellington, and is to sail on the same day for AVellington, Picton, and AA Tanganui via ports. _ Port AATiangarei is due from Lyttelton on February 11 and is to sail on the same day ’for her usual ports. Holmglen is due from Wellington on February 12, and is to sail on the same day for New Plymouth and Port AA raikato via ports. Poolta is due on Tuesday from AA ellington and Bluff. She is to load and sail on the same day for Napier, Gisborne, and Tauranga via ports. INTERISLAND SERVICE. The interisland express steamer Rangatira arrived at Lyttelton from AVellington at 6.40 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express. HUNTINGDON’S VOYAGE. The Federal steamer Huntingdon, which arrived at Port Chalmers from Liverpool via northern New Zealand ports, left the Mersey, Liverpool, on December 2, and called at Curacao and Colon on the voyage. She arrived at Auckland on January 10, and after unloading part cargo there proceeded to Wellington and Lyttelton. The Huntingdon will commence Homeward load at Port Chalmers. She is expected to sail to-morrow ■ evening for Napier, thence Gisborne, Auckland, AA r ellington, and Bluff to complete loading. The vessel will sail finally from Bluff on February 24 for London, where she is due. about April 6. NARBADA LEAVES BLUFF. After completion of of her Calcutta cargo at Bluff the Narbada left there on Tuesday on her return trip to the Fast to load again for New Zealand. She will bunker at Newcastle and proceed from there to Java and Calcutta. The Narbada is expected to arrive back in New Zealand waters in May. WAIHEMO LEAVES .LOS ANGELES. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the AVaihemo left Los Angeles on January 24 for Nukualofa, Auckland, Napier, AVellington, Lyttelton, and Australia. She is due at Auckland on February 19. TAMAROA LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. The Tamaroa left Southampton last Friday afternoon with passengers and cargo for New Zealand. She is coming via Curacao and Panama, and is due at Auckland on February 28. After discharging cargo at Napier she will go to AVellington, being due there about March 7, sailing thence for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. TANKER BALACLAVA. Under charter to the Shell Company, the 8,036 tons Swedish motor-tanker Balaclava is due at Auckland from Singapore about February 5. She has a hulk petrol cargo for discharge at Auckland, New Plymouth, and Dunedin.

KI A. ORA IN BALLAST. Travelling in ballast the Kia Ora left London on the morning of January 27 for New Zealand. She is coming via the Cape of Good Hope and Sydney, and is due in these waters about March 12. THE MAHANA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana arrived at Auckland from Brisbane on Sunday afternoon to commence loading in New Zealand for England. The vessel discharged cargo from London at Australian ports and came to Auckland in ballast. Exceptionally fine weather was experienced on the passage from Brisbane. Her loading ports are Auckland, Gisborne, Wellington, Dunedin, and Bluff. TEES FROM CHATHAM ISLANDS. The Tees arrived at Lyttelton at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday from the Chatham Islands, being several hours late due to a heavy sea experienced in the latter part of the trip. Her cargo consisted of 1,500 sheep from Kaingaroa and a small quantity of wool. The following passengers arrived: —Mr and Mrs A. D. Carson, Miss B. Clough, and Mr D. Daymond. The Tees was to sail to-day for the islands, and will call at Waitangi only, GALE RECOMMISSIONED. The Canterbury Steam Ship, Company’s steamer Gale, the recommissioning of which has been delayed owing to the inability of the owners to secure a crew, signed on a crew on Tuesday and sailed for Wellington and AA ranganui. Mr F. Newfield, secretary of the Seamen’s Union Federation, arrived at Lyttelton from AVellington on the same day concerning the recommissioning of the vessel. MARAMA’S TRANSHIPMENTS. Transhipments from the following vessels were carried by the Marama, which arrived at AA r ellington on Monday morning from Sydney Canberra, Commissaire, Ramel, Corrimal Goulhnrn, Katoomba, Maloja, Mangola, Nankin, Neckar, Ormiston, Ormonde, Talleyrand, and Westralia.
