(Received January 31, at 1 p.m.) Thousands, forming a solid mass all along the route, cheered and saluted Herr Hitler as he proceeded to the Reichstag meeting in the Kroll Operahouse to give an account of his year’s stewardship. The deputies, who wfere all in either brown shirts or black uniforms, clamorously received the Chancellor, who received from President Hindcnburg a handwritten letter of congratulation on his successful leadership. Herr Hitler, iu a speech, declared that the year Would be known as the year of the Nazi revolution, which had changed every sphere of German life and prevented the total collapse that was threatened under the crippling parliamentary regime.
