RIFLE SHOOTING
KIWI DEFENCE CLUB The third and final competition of No. 4 match was fired by the members of the Kiwi Defence Rifle Club last Saturday/afternoon. Seven shots and two optional sighters were fired at 300, 500, and 600 yards. The conditions for shooting were free from rain, although a very changeable light made visibility difficult, especially at 600yds. Several very good scores were made—at 300yds by Rifleman R. Gillick (34), at 500yds by Rifleman H. Whitehead (34), and at 600yds by Rifleman F. Marks (33). The matchwinners were: A grade Riflemen H. Whitehead 1, R. Gillick 2; B grade—Riflemen .T.
