COLOURED ROOFING TILES
During the last six months or so a type of coloured tiled roofing well known in Auckland and other parts of the North Island has made its appearance in Dunedin. This roofing obtains its appeal and success by combining from three to six different shades in each roof, the tiles being placed more or less at'random. By varying the proportions of tiles of each colour the general blended tone is altered accordingly. There seems .little doubt that these “ blended ” roof's will become very popular with the home building public in Dunedin. There are already several good examples to be seen, the latest being in Spencer street, Anderson’s Bay.
