WORK OH RESERVES

BATHGATE PARK FOR LADY BOWLERS The report of the Reserves Committee of the City Council details work that, is being carried out on the various reserves, and mentions that arrangements have been made for the reservation of a portion of Bathgate Bark for the Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association. Arrangements have been made for the reservation for the Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association of a portion of Bathgate Park, which was drained some time ago for tennis courts. The association has under consideration a proposal to lay down a ladies’ bowling green on the area in the near future.
