ALLEGED VIOLATION STANDARD OIL COMPANY CHARGED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK,. January. 16. The Government instigated litigation against the Standard Oil Company, New Jersey, to-day for alleged violation of the National Recovery Act code by giving premiums with the sales of its 'products. This refers to a radio programme conducted by Babe Ruth, who offers coupons which can be exchanged for prizes to children for bringing their parents or guardians into a Standard station to purchase petrol and lubricants.
