STRIKES ILLEGAL
NEW GERMAN LAW Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, January 16. A law which' will operate from May 1 abolishes workmen’s councils for wages, tariffs, and arbitration. - The law declares strikes illegal and makes the fate of workmen dependent on the decision of employers, subject to veto by the “ Labour Front ” trustee.
