DEPUTATION TO INTERVIEW MINISTERS " L " I ‘ [Per United Press Association.] GISBORNE, January IT. After a long discussion on the relief workers’ strike the' Borough Council unanimously decided to take ; steps to send a deputation representative of the local bodies in the - district to Wellington to interview the Prime Minister, and the Minister, of Employment rc-r garding the position. Opinions were expressed that. th<# mayor and councillors of Gisborne were, not being fairly treated in regard to 1 relief allocations, and that the men* should be paid the same as in the other, centres.
