CALL TO THE PEOPLE
LORD ROTHERMERE'S CAMPAIGN GOVERNMENT'S APATHY CONDEMNED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 15. The ‘ Daily Mail ’ approves of Lord Rothermere’s call to the people of Britain to face realities. It says: “ The Government is giving way to India, regardless of the bitter lesson taught by the surrender to Sinn Fein. It has permitted the Air Force to sink to the lowest position among the Great Powers. Men and women who are tired of old party methods have every reason to support Sir Oswald Mosley’s Black Shirts with enthusiasm. It is an organisation of youth controlled by young, alert minds, and its watchword is ‘ Action ’ not ‘ Drift.’ The Black Shirts offer an alternative to rule by Sir Stafford Cripps.”
