(Received November 30, at 11.55 a.m.) The Argentine Government, by decree, lias fixed the price of wheat at 62 cents per bushel, corn at 44, and flax at 115 on a basis of United States currency. The decree raised prices from 11 to iti per cent, over the previous level. It also creates a Grain Regulation Board to purchase money drafts from exporters and send them to firms needing foreign exchange by a virtual auction system, the Government anticipating that this system will defray the expenses of the grain subsidy, leaving the Government a net profit. The Finance Minister (Senor De Pinedo) announced that the Government was partially abandoning its control of monetary exchange in a move toward the re-establishment of a free exchange market, which has been non-existent since November 26, 1931.
