ANTI-GAS MEASURES Prw* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CANBERRA, November 29. In the House of Representatives the assistant Minister of Defence (Mr Francis), replying to a question, stated that precautionary measures against gas attacks on Australian cities were being taken by the Commonwealth Government, although a committee of military, naval, and air experts had reported that there was not much likelihood of such an attack. However, plans were being prepared which embraced ambulance and police training in anti-gas measures and the manufacture of cheap serviceable gas masks and suitable clothing.
