DUNEDIN 0 BEATS KIWI B The second series of the water polo B grade competition was commenced at the Dunedin Club hour at the Municipal Baths last night, Dunedin C beating Kiwi B by 5 goals to 4 after a well-contested game. The winners had a little more pace than their heavier opponents, and made more use of their possession of the ball. The score at half-time was 3-1 in Dunedin’s favour, but Kiwi did better in the second half, adding 3 goals, though Dunedin maintained their advantage and scored 2 more goals. For Dunedin goals were scored by G. Huston (3), A. M, Rix and N Williams one each. Williams played a very fine game, and was well supported by Rix and Huston. Kiwi’s goals were scored by E. C. Isaacs (2), W. A. Black, and 0. Holland. Black, O. Holland, and Duff all played good games for Kiwi. The teams were:-—Dunedin C—J. Blacklock, L. Pullar, L. Tonks, A. M. Rix, G. Ruston, R. Gibbs, and N. Williams. Kiwi B—C. J. Lecden. D. Duff, J Campbell. J. Holland. W. A. Black, O. Holland, and E. C. Isaacs. Mr 15. Kerr ably controlled tho game TO-NIGHT’S MATCH. The 15 grade game between St. Clair 15 and Kiwi C at the Kiwi Club hour 10-ni;*-'il will he refereed by Mr F. Beauchamp. SATURDAY’S FIXTURES. The second series of tho A grade competition will bo played at the Otago Centro hour on Saturday night, the matches being as follow : St. Clair A v. Dunedin B, at 8.30 sharp. Referee, Mr D. T. Woodfield. Kiwi A v. Dunedin A, to follow immediately after first game. Referee, Mr H. D. Gillies.
