The membership of the Dunedin R.S.A. has reached 1,962, equal to that at the end of the last financial year at March 31 last. As there are still four months of the current financial year ahead, it is anticipated that the total will exceed the 2,000 mark. The annual exhibition of the Otago Art Society, which has been open in tlie I’ioneer Hall for the past three weeks, was concluded last night after a season which, it is reported, compares favourably with those of previous years. Before the doors were finally closed last evening the pictures ‘ Bush Shanty,’ by Bob Heid. and ‘ Manapouri,’- by ,W. Mien Bollard, wore sold.
