STRIKE IN CHICAGO Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CHICAGO, November 27. The operations at the Union Stock Yards were to-day paralysed by a strike of the Live Stock Handlers’ Union. There was no open market, and the Department of Agriculture issued no quotations. It is estimated that 7,000 men arc on strike. Tho strikers demand a return to the 1919 wages. Many arc reported to bo getting weekly cheques of only 750 to 1,250 cents. Forty thousand hogs, 10,000 cattle, and 17,000 sheep are already awaiting unloading. No violence has been reported.
