The number of killed and injured as the result ;of road motor accidents has already this year exceeded last year’s total of 213,317. The total since 1918 exceeds 2,000,000. A meeting of the Pedestrians’ Association, at which relatives of victims will attend, will’urge the. Government to take immediate action, specially emphasising the case of the Scottish family whose three children were killed within a year at the same spot.
