THOUSAND POUND NOTE
PART OF LINDBERGH BABY RANSOM DISCOVERED IN ANTWERP Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ANTWERP, September 21. [(Received September 22, at 1.35 p.m.) Three men were arrested for attempting to cash a Bank of England £I,OOO note, which the authorities of the Bank of Antwerp discovered to be part of the Lindbergh baby ransom. The accused admitted that the note was stolen from a Dutchman in Paris by a band of international thieves, whose names they, were afraid to disclose. They were found guilty of receiving stolen property and imprisoned.
