FRENCH WORKERS' DEPENDENTS ACT TO BE ENFORCED Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, September 16. From November 1 dependents and children in the key industries under the Act passed in 1932 will become a charge on the employers’ pay roll. The basis will be 7s Cd monthly for the first child, varying thereafter till a total is reached of between 37s 6d and 50s for a family of four. Tho employers estimate that the charge involves them in a 3 per cent, addition to their wages bill.
