NEW CHIEF APPOINTED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CAPE TOWN, September 16. The Bechuanaland native council has selected Serngola to replace their chief Tschekedi, who was escorted to Francistown by the police. Macintosh and MacNameo have been ordered to leave for Lobatsi to-morrow. Seragola acted as chief previously during Tschekodi’s absence. Tschekedi will probably sail for London on Friday to submit his case to the Colonial Secretary.
