HINKLER MEMORIAL CEREMONY IN ITALY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrignt* AREZZO, September 17. (Received September 18, at 11.55 a.m.) At the Hinkler memorial* ceremony Colonel Stevens and Mr Pearkes addressed the Assembly, expressing the thanks of the British and Australian Governments and the Hinkler family. Two aeroplanes from Arezzo airport circled during the ceremony. Colonel Stevens and Mr Pearkes visited a Fascist home in Strada where the propeller of Hinkler’s machine is preserved, and lengthily talked with the charcoal burners who first discovered the wrecked machine.
