Perhaps the following will be of interest to many of your readers: — Breweries in Dunedin, 1865. —Otago Brewery, Burks, J. L. Burk and Co, (depot at Princes street south); PhoeniXj Filleul street, C. R. Goulding; Red Lion, George street north, M. Joel; White Star, Cayersham, Samuel Marks; Water of Leith, Great Ring street, Marshall and Copeland; Well Park, Great King street, Richardson and Booth; Strachan’s, Pitt street, William Straclian. The Licensed Victuallers’ Association of Dunedin was established in July, 1864, Members of the association. 1865: —President, Mr H. Bastings; vicepresident, Mr C, Gray; treasurer, Mr H.
