After three years of economic depression the old-established Arm of Milne and Choyce Ltd. announces increased profits for the year ended July 31, and last year’s dividend rate is again recommended. In their annual report to shareholders the directors state that the profit for the year amounted to £10,504. This amount, less depreciation on the building, fixtures, machinery, and provision for income tax (£10,379), leaves a balance of £9,125. The amount brought forward from last year was £40,087, from which was paid £8,340 in dividends. The balance to the credit of profit and loss account therefore is £40,992. NEW GUINEA GOLD.
